　　Polyethylene is a thermoplastic resin produced by the polymerization of ethylene. It is odorless, non-toxic, and has a waxy feel. It has excellent low-temperature resistance (minimum service temperature can reach -70°C to 100°C), good chemical stability, and is resistant to most acid and alkali corrosion (not resistant to oxidizing acids). At room temperature, it is insoluble in common solvents, has low water absorption, and excellent electrical insulation.

　　Polyethylene is divided into high-density polyethylene (HDPE), low-density polyethylene (LDPE), and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) depending on the polymerization method, molecular weight, and chain structure. The raw materials used for plastic packaging bottles are mostly high-density polyethylene and low-density polyethylene. Among them, low-density polyethylene is mainly used for packaging dropper bottles. It has a soft feel, is easy to squeeze, but is not resistant to high temperatures and will melt above 80 degrees Celsius, while high-density polyethylene is resistant to low temperatures (-70-100°C) and has good flexibility. Commonly used processing methods for polyethylene raw materials include injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding. The processing method may vary slightly depending on the bottle type and use.
